Job summary
The DevOps Engineer manages the deployment and operational reliability of the AWA platform within THE BANK's Azure UAE environment, ensuring all components are reproducible from code.
Qualifications
- 5+ years DevOps/Platform Engineering; 2+ years on Azure
- Production IaC with Terraform or Bicep
- Kubernetes / AKS: namespaces, RBAC, Network Policies
- Multi-stage pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Azure Monitor and Log Analytics experience
- Container ecosystem knowledge: Docker, ACR
- Azure networking concepts: VNet, private endpoints, NSGs
- Experience with KEDA or equivalent autoscaling
Responsibilities
- Maintain AWA Azure infrastructure in Terraform/Bicep
- Design and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines
- Manage the 5-namespace AKS cluster
- Manage ACR and enforce image signing
- Configure Azure Key Vault
- Set up Azure Monitor alert rules and KQL queries
- Implement Azure Policy assignments with AI Security Engineer
- Maintain and test disaster recovery procedures
