DevOps Engineers | Secure Technology Environments

Job summary

DevOps Engineers strengthen secure technology environments by improving infrastructure, deployment automation, application performance, and reliability in collaboration with development teams. The role covers infrastructure as code with Ansible and CloudFormation, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, security and compliance controls, and performance monitoring with Elasticsearch, APM, Beats, and Kibana. Work also includes troubleshooting, documentation, and participation in Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Current NV1, NV2, or TSPV security clearance
• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or a related field
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or C#
• Experience with Ansible, CloudFormation, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; Kubernetes-based deployment experience is preferred
• Experience with Agile development and version control using Git and Bitbucket

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code with Ansible and CloudFormation
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment scripts
• Maintain monitoring and logging tools
• Integrate applications with infrastructure and supporting tools
• Implement security and access controls, auditing, and compliance measures
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise resources
• Maintain infrastructure diagrams, deployment documentation, and troubleshooting guides
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews
