The DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer is tasked with managing and enhancing the services and infrastructure of an IoT platform, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability. Key responsibilities include developing an Ansible-based server infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and implementing comprehensive monitoring and logging systems using tools like Grafana and Airflow.

• Practical experience in Linux system administration, preferably in Fedora or RHEL environments
• Proficient in Ansible, including roles, vault, and inventories
• Experience in operating production applications with monitoring and incident response
• Familiarity with Docker or Podman and container builds
• Structured analysis of technical issues and risk-aware documentation of changes
• Calm and solution-oriented approach in incident situations with clear communication of risks
• Language proficiency: German C1, English B2

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance Ansible-based server infrastructure
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
• Oversee internal and customer-facing services, including deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain container infrastructure with secure base images and standardized build processes
• Expand and operate Airflow instances with performance optimization
• Collaborate with backend and embedded teams on architecture decisions and troubleshooting
• Document configurations, operational processes, and incident findings
