Job summary

An IT Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer manages and optimizes on-premises and cloud environments while automating workflows and supporting software, hardware, and machine learning engineering teams. The role administers Linux systems and networking, builds CI/CD pipelines, packages software as RPM/DEB installers and Docker containers, and implements infrastructure automation, monitoring, backups, and security across platforms such as AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, YAML, and JSON.
• Experience with local and cloud computing environments, virtual machines, and system images.
• Experience with RPM/DEB packaging and Docker.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of networking, security, access control, and system monitoring.
• Preferred experience managing infrastructure across edge and cloud environments.
• Preferred experience supporting semiconductor, FPGA, ASIC, or embedded hardware teams.
• Preferred familiarity with machine learning infrastructure, GPU computing, and deployment workflows.
• Preferred experience supporting real-time image or audio processing, or computer vision applications.
• Preferred familiarity with Kubernetes, EDA tools, embedded Linux, and cross-compilation toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Manage secure, reliable, and scalable on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Administer Linux systems, virtual machines, networking, computing environments, and system images.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software builds, testing, packaging, and deployment.
• Build and distribute software as RPM/DEB installers and Docker containers.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Support software, hardware, and machine learning engineering environments.
• Troubleshoot system, networking, and deployment issues.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
• Manage backup and restoration procedures.
• Contribute to security, compliance, and data privacy initiatives.
