Job summary

Leads the design and engineering of cloud infrastructure and production platforms, focusing on scalable, resilient, highly available services across Azure and AWS. The role oversees Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation, observability, disaster recovery, and incident management, while establishing operational standards and driving reliability improvements. The position is based in Dublin and calls for 15–18 years of experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain highly available, resilient cloud platforms.
• Plan platform scalability, resilience, and capacity.
• Develop multi-region and high-availability architectures.
• Plan disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate operations using Python, PowerShell, shell scripting, or Go.
• Lead incident reviews and operational readiness assessments.
• Establish operational standards, runbooks, and playbooks.
• Drive continuous improvement using reliability engineering principles.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, product, cloud engineering, and operations teams.
