Devops Lead

Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to provide technical leadership and oversee the delivery of enterprise integration, API, and microservices capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to integration platforms and DevOps.
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering and API development.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead role managing technical delivery.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, enhancement, release, and support of Mesh platform capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and developers.
• Design and implement scalable APIs, microservices, integration flows, and automation scripts.
• Drive CI/CD implementation and improvements using DevOps tools.
• Support cloud-native platform operations across various environments.
• Lead incident resolution, production support, and root cause analysis.
• Automate operational activities using scripting languages.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver platform changes.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and recommend improvements.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and production readiness assessments.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote best practices.
