Job summary
Build and maintain machine learning applications across AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and on-premises infrastructure. Develop Python and FastAPI REST APIs, manage scalable cloud deployments, automate testing and releases with CI/CD, integrate data services, and maintain systems using Ceph, PostgreSQL, and NFS.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Python and FastAPI
- Hands-on experience deploying, scaling, and managing AWS EKS and Kubernetes clusters
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as S3, RDS, and VPCs
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
- Knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and NFS
- Experience with Ceph storage
- Linux system administration expertise
- Ability to write maintainable code and perform thorough testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS EKS for availability, scalability, and performance
- Integrate data sources and services, including MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Collaborate across teams to integrate cloud-native tools and practices
- Maintain on-premises servers running Ceph, PostgreSQL, and NFS
- Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing
