Job summary
The DevOps Manager role is responsible for defining the DevOps strategy and roadmap, focusing on CI/CD, automation, and cloud engineering. Key responsibilities include managing a team of DevOps engineers, establishing CI/CD governance, overseeing cloud environments, and driving automation of builds and deployments using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- define CI/CD, automation, cloud and platform-engineering direction
- manage DevOps engineers and workload
- establish standards for build, test, release and deployment pipelines
- ensure reliable, repeatable and controlled production releases
- oversee cloud environments, containers, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code
- ensure development, test, staging and production environments are available and correctly configured
- drive automation of builds, deployments, provisioning, testing and operational activities
- oversee tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
