Job summary

The DevOps Manager role focuses on leading a high-performing team to optimize development processes and tools within the Video Division, which specializes in AI-based surveillance systems. Key responsibilities include overseeing infrastructure development, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, integrating security standards into the SDLC, and collaborating with IT and product teams to establish engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading and motivating DevOps teams
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in development or DevOps, demonstrating a strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
• A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• A deep understanding and appreciation for Agile methodologies
• Experience utilizing Jira for project management and issue tracking
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to foster collaboration and understanding

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a high-performing DevOps team across next-generation infrastructure development, toolchain modernization, and release automation
• Oversee the ongoing integration of legacy infrastructure and release support while migrating services toward unified, modern platforms
• Spearhead pipeline improvements and strategies to drastically reduce continuous integration build times and streamline deployment velocity
• Lead the team to provision seamless, consistent development environments and standardized tooling to minimize developer setup time and remove operational friction
• Integrate security standards, dependency tracking, and compliance checks directly into the SDLC and release infrastructure from the ground up
• Manage work and effectively prioritize day-to-day operational support and tech debt alongside long-term strategic roadmap goals
• Collaborate closely with IT and product teams to establish unified engineering standards and clear technical debt prioritization processes
