Job summary

OPAL-RT Technologies is seeking a DevOps professional to work in a dynamic Agile environment, focusing on the development of internal tools for automated CI tests and supporting software teams throughout the product development phases.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, software development, continuous integration, automation or infrastructure management
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration technologies
• Ability to develop and maintain internal tools
• Good understanding of DevOps practices
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
• Experience managing virtualized environments
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud environments
• Understanding of build systems
• Ability to diagnose complex issues
• Ability to document solutions clearly

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve internal tools using Python, Groovy, Shell or other relevant languages
• Automate processes related to builds, tests, deployments and environment management
• Participate in the maintenance and evolution of CI environments and other DevOps tools
• Contribute to the management of virtual infrastructure
• Participate in the administration and improvement of virtualized environments
• Collaborate with software teams
• Participate in the analysis and improvement of build systems
• Document tools, processes and best practices
• Support and train users
