DevOps/Platform Engineer

Job summary

The DevOps/Platform Engineer role focuses on enhancing build, test, and deployment systems within the Infrastructure team. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for various applications, integrating security measures into delivery processes, and improving release automation and observability for deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevEx, DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering
• Strong experience with scripting and automation (Bash and one of Node, Go, or Python)
• Proficient in GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Strong debugging skills across CI logs and build systems
• Knowledge of containers (Docker)
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience deploying to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (preferably Terraform)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for microservices and Unity applications
• Implement pipeline templates and reusable workflows to minimize duplication
• Integrate security into delivery processes
• Improve build performance through caching and parallelization
• Enhance release automation including versioning and feature flags
• Collaborate with engineers to improve developer experience
• Build observability around pipelines and deployments
• Support incident response for deployment issues
• Continuously evaluate tools and practices for modernization
