Job summary
The DevOps Platform Engineer automates and improves software releases for the GENIUS platform, which supports applications used in the Netherlands’ critical energy infrastructure. The role designs and maintains CI/CD pipelines, automates deployments with PowerShell, manages Git workflows, and coordinates releases through the OTAP model. Work takes place in a fully isolated, air-gapped environment where security, reliability, and continuity are essential.

Qualifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps Server or comparable CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Strong PowerShell knowledge and experience automating build and deployment processes.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Basic knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Develop and optimize PowerShell scripts and modules for reliable software deployments.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage releases using the OTAP model.
- Manage and improve Git branching and merging strategies.
- Analyze and resolve deployment issues and technical disruptions.
- Operate and maintain GENIUS applications with colleagues.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Document technical processes and uphold security guidelines.
