Job summary

ProDIG GmbH is seeking a DevOps Platform Engineer to support the deployment and operation of Kubernetes-based platforms across AWS and on-premises environments. The role involves designing and improving cloud-native infrastructure, automating workflows, and collaborating with development and security teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or MLOps in complex IT environments.
• Strong expertise in operating production Kubernetes platforms across AWS and on-premises infrastructures.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, networking, and platform automation.
• Knowledge of the German BSI IT-Grundschutz framework is advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in English and German (C1 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Support production deployment and operation of Kubernetes-based platforms across AWS and on-premises environments.
• Design, implement, and improve scalable, highly available cloud-native infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows using GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for platform reliability and performance.
• Support operation and optimization of MLOps platforms for production machine learning workloads.
• Collaborate with software development and security teams to implement secure, resilient platform architectures.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues.
• Contribute to implementation of security, compliance, and operational best practices.
