DevOps Platform Engineer

Job summary

This role builds and manages secure, reliable, and scalable Microsoft Azure cloud foundations for digital healthcare products serving frontline staff and patients. Responsibilities include infrastructure as code, CI/CD and automated testing, API platform management, monitoring and reliability, incident response, disaster recovery, business continuity, and cloud consumption, in collaboration with delivery, engineering, cybersecurity, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• deep experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code
• strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Bicep
• experience designing and implementing application programming interface platforms
• knowledge of cloud security controls, including identity and access management, secrets management and network security
• experience building continuous integration and deployment pipelines and automated testing
• hands-on experience with telemetry, monitoring and alerting tools
• an understanding of privacy and data protection obligations for systems containing sensitive information
• relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related discipline, and/or significant relevant industry experience, are required
