Job summary

The senior DevOps/SRE role supports the operation and ongoing modernization of a high-traffic e-commerce platform hosted across on-premises and cloud environments. Responsibilities include maintaining virtualized infrastructure, automating deployments and configuration, monitoring availability, and supporting production releases and reliability. The technology environment includes VMware vSphere, Windows and Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and Dynatrace.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of DevOps or SRE experience
• Strong command of VMware vSphere and Windows and Linux environments
• Proficiency with Docker and production experience with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of networking, including F5, DNS, and DHCP
• Expertise in monitoring and logging with OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and Dynatrace
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, and Terragrunt
• Experience operating microservices architectures
• Scripting skills with PowerShell and Python
• Knowledge of IIS, Nginx, RabbitMQ, Active Directory, and Vault

Responsibilities

• Maintain virtualized infrastructure and diagnose faults
• Configure and size platforms to meet performance requirements
• Industrialize target architectures and automate technical resource configuration through CI/CD
• Implement and administer monitoring tools to support high availability
• Modernize and continuously improve the e-commerce platform
• Safeguard data backups, access security, and solution reliability
• Validate technical changes for production releases and platform upgrades
• Maintain and improve technical documentation
• Provide rotating technical on-call coverage
