Job summary
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to support a data discovery platform modernization effort.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience; 6+ years with a Master's
- Strong Linux proficiency
- Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional engineering environments
Responsibilities
- Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big-data pipeline
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
- Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure
- Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments
- Partner with Systems Engineers for new capabilities
- Contribute to engineering documentation and models
- Participate in Agile planning and team activities
