Job summary
Pattison Food Group is seeking a full-time DevOps Specialist to join their IT team in Langley, BC. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting DevOps solutions to enhance software delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in software development, systems engineering, or DevOps
- 3+ years administering Linux and Windows environments
- 3+ years with Azure cloud services
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows, Bash, PowerShell, and Java
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on with GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform
- Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with monitoring and observability solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Develop automation workflows using Ansible
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform
- Optimize Azure cloud environments
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions
- Administer Linux and Windows server environments
- Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues
- Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Develop scripts for automation
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements
- Create technical documentation
