Job summary
Thales is seeking a DevOps Sub-Discipline Manager to lead and manage the DevOps team, focusing on the development, deployment, and operations processes to ensure reliable and high-performing systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior DevOps Engineering role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a DevOps Team
- Proven problem solving and analytic skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance priorities
- Conflict resolution skills for technical and people issues
- Ability to develop strong relationships through customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and manage automation solutions for Windows and Linux servers
- Create and maintain reusable automations for various environments
- Educate on CI/CD best practices
- Integrate workflows with CI/CD pipeline for automated deployments
- Identify and troubleshoot server configuration issues
- Lead discipline strategy and technical decisions
- Develop KPIs for DevOps efficiency
- Guide teams on CI/CD pipeline development
- Perform DevOps work on bids, projects, and products
