Job summary

WISAG Industrietechnischer Service is seeking a DevOps & System Service Engineer to ensure the 24/7 operation of 4Wire PLS services on Windows and Linux platforms. The role involves planning, controlling, and executing release deployments, as well as in-depth error analysis and troubleshooting EDI communication. The engineer will also be responsible for analyzing SAP connections and database performance, and creating scripts for proactive system monitoring.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• Structured and solution-oriented work approach
• Experience in Windows Server and Linux administration
• In-depth knowledge of PowerShell and Bash
• Experience in Perl/PHP, C, C++, and C# programming
• Proficient in Git and Azure DevOps
• Deep understanding of XML/JSON parsers and SQL
• Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 operation of 4Wire PLS services on Windows and Linux platforms
• Plan, control, and execute release deployments on production servers
• Perform in-depth error analysis using log files and troubleshoot EDI communication
• Review and analyze SAP connections and database performance (OORTDB/MySQL)
• Create and revise scripts for proactive system monitoring
