Job summary
Lead a platform engineering team modernizing a .NET insurance platform from a monolith toward a stable, scalable, service-oriented architecture. Shape Azure CI/CD and release practices, including gated pipeline templates and production deployments, while building Terraform-based infrastructure, strengthening cloud security, and resolving platform incidents.

Qualifications
- Experience building Azure environments from scratch with Terraform, including modules, state management, and CI/CD-driven deployments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Key Vault, Cosmos DB, networking, and identity services.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines for build, release, and deployment automation.
- Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
- Experience with Grafana, Application Insights, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
- Ability to migrate manually built infrastructure to infrastructure as code without a production outage.
- Experience leading as a technical lead or architect.
Responsibilities
- Lead the platform engineering team and partner with technology leadership on long-term improvement initiatives.
- Design versioned CI/CD pipeline templates with quality and security gates, and promote builds through test, staging, pre-production, and production with approvals and rollback.
- Execute scheduled and off-cycle production deployments, including database releases and post-deployment checks.
- Coordinate release readiness and go/no-go decisions with release management.
- Build reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, automate environment provisioning, remediate drift, and decommission legacy environments.
- Strengthen identity, access, secrets management, and cloud resource security.
- Lead platform incident root-cause analysis and remediation, and maintain runbooks, knowledge transfer, and intake processes.
