Job summary

De testspecialist borgt de kwaliteit, veiligheid en beschikbaarheid van digitale voorzieningen used by millions of people, including online police services and applications that route reports to police systems. In a DevOps team, the role develops automated tests and frameworks with Selenium or Playwright, Java and TypeScript; shapes test processes and strategies; organizes end-to-end testing; and coaches colleagues. The specialist also contributes to CI/CD, logging, monitoring and incident support.

• HBO bachelor-level education or equivalent work-and-thinking level.
• TMap or ISTQB certification.
• At least 3–5 years of experience implementing and performing automated testing in Agile/DevOps CI/CD environments using Selenium or Playwright.
• At least 3 years of experience in test management and developing and communicating test vision and strategy in an Agile environment.
• Experience coaching colleagues.
• Software development background in Java, Angular or Vue, and experience with API and performance testing.
• Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests and test automation frameworks.
• Lead the creation and adoption of efficient testing processes, test vision and test strategies.
• Select appropriate testing tools and organize end-to-end testing.
• Coach DevOps colleagues on testing practices, including shift-left and risk-based testing.
• Contribute to software development, CI/CD, logging, monitoring and incident support.
