Job summary

Caspar Health is seeking a DevSecOps/DevOps Engineer with strong application and infrastructure security skills to enhance their digital rehabilitation platform. The role involves integrating security practices into development processes and automating compliance within a cloud environment, primarily using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of application security and common vulnerabilities
• Solid understanding of infrastructure security and secure configurations
• Proven track record in AWS environments and managing Infrastructure as Code
• Familiar with encryption and secure access protocols
• Enjoy Linux administration and can automate tasks using Python, Go, or Node.js
• Ability to explain complex security risks to developers

Responsibilities

• Lead triaging of security alerts and vulnerabilities
• Integrate automated security testing and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
• Evolve AWS infrastructure into a gold standard of 'Security as Code' using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Turn regulatory requirements into automated guardrails
• Manage and harden data layers and orchestrate K8s environment with a zero-trust mindset
• Collaborate with development squads to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
