B&A is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a federal government client, focusing on automation and security in software delivery.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps principles and compliance enforcement in secure environments.
• Expertise in CI/CD automation using GitLab and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Proficiency in version control and containerization.
• Experience with monitoring frameworks like Dynatrace and ElasticSearch.
• Proficiency in managing AWS services.
• Experience in migrating applications to cloud.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience with configuration management technologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud-hosted systems management.
• Proficiency in source control and testing pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Harness.
• Design and manage GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle with automated security testing.
• Collaborate with teams to enforce DevSecOps standards and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Ensure operational resiliency and scalability of cloud-based environments.
• Monitor and optimize performance and security of infrastructure and pipelines.
• Maintain documentation and provide training on best practices.
• Design and maintain CI/CD and operations infrastructure.
• Develop custom tools and automation through programming.
• Identify areas for automation across platforms.
• Design and set up large cloud clusters.
• Support Change/Service Requests as needed.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code solutions.
