Job summary
Build and operate secure, compliant infrastructure for services that present and exchange health data, working within a four-person DevSecOps team alongside application teams and a compliance lead. The role covers Kubernetes platform operations, GitOps and infrastructure as code, security controls for frameworks including NEN 7510 and ISO 27001, penetration-test remediation, monitoring, networking, certificates, and audit support using tools such as ArgoCD, Kargo, Terraform, Grafana, and Vault.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, DevSecOps, or SRE.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, infrastructure as code, and GitOps.
- Strong awareness of security risks associated with health data.
- Good English communication skills.
- Dutch proficiency is an advantage.
- Experience with ISO 27001, NEN 7510, or a similar security framework is an advantage.
- Healthcare or regulated-sector experience is an advantage.
- Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, WAF, or vulnerability scanners is an advantage.
- Experience with GitOps and orchestration tools such as ArgoCD and Kargo is an advantage.
- Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, or security certifications are an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Keep applications, dependencies, cluster components, and host machines secure and up to date.
- Implement and maintain technical and procedural controls for NEN 7510, ISO 27001, MedMij, DigiD, and TSS-SFW.
- Oversee annual external penetration tests and ensure findings are addressed promptly.
- Respond to technical questions in DPIAs and customer security questionnaires, and participate in audits.
- Build, operate, and improve the platform using infrastructure as code, ArgoCD, Kargo, and Terraform.
- Set up and maintain monitoring for platform components.
- Test backups, time synchronization, and other core platform functions.
- Manage networking configuration and certificates.
- Maintain system availability and currency.
