Job summary
The DevSecOps Engineer operates, maintains, and develops PKI and HSM infrastructure, including credential management for smartcards and hardware tokens, secret management, and related applications. The role covers monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, modernization, and integration of systems to ensure availability, scalability, and security. The engineer collaborates with product owners and an agile SAFe team to develop resilient solutions for on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments.

Qualifications
- Higher education in computer science or equivalent further education
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Strong PKI and HSM engineering knowledge
- Knowledge of key and certificate management and/or secret and credential management
- Experience in a regulated environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of Thales Network HSMs, Microsoft ADCS, .NET development, and PowerShell
- Comprehensive understanding of PKI and underlying cryptography
- Practical experience developing and operating solutions for on-premises, cloud, and SaaS systems
- Very good German and English skills

- Operate, maintain, and develop PKI and HSM systems
- Manage credential systems, smartcards, hardware tokens, and secrets
- Implement and optimize solutions with product owners
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure availability, scalability, and security
- Automate and modernize systems and processes
- Integrate new IT systems with PKI and HSM infrastructure
- Analyze and resolve technical issues
- Develop resilient PKI infrastructure for current and anticipated needs
- Collaborate with the DevOps team and business stakeholders using SAFe
