Job summary
The DevSecOps Engineer designs, builds, and manages infrastructure for software factory environments supporting defense programs. The role develops Terraform-based infrastructure, deploys Docker workloads to Kubernetes with Helm, manages GitOps and CI/CD workflows, and administers Linux systems in secure multi-cloud environments. It also applies DoD STIG and Iron Bank hardening standards and supports networking, policy enforcement, and secrets management.

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance of Secret or higher
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes
- Terraform and Helm experience
- CI/CD experience; GitLab preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with Linux system administration
- Preferred experience with Renovate, FluxCD or similar GitOps tools, and OPA policy-as-code frameworks
- Preferred familiarity with the DoD Security Requirements Guide, DoD DevSecOps Reference Guide, and DoD Cloud SRG
- Preferred experience with Windows Server administration and automation, RHEL distributions, and container hardening
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices
- Author Dockerfiles and deploy workloads to Kubernetes with Helm
- Implement GitOps workflows and automated cluster configuration management
- Harden clusters and base images according to DoD STIG and Iron Bank standards
- Support networking, policy enforcement, and secrets management in secure multi-cloud environments
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement solutions independently
- Administer and maintain production Linux systems
- Collaborate with development and security teams on CI/CD pipeline operations
