Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their Undersea Warfare team in Fall River, MA. The role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated security controls, and supporting software delivery in classified environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent full-time professional experience
• 5+ years of full-time professional software and/or cybersecurity experience
• Experience in software development processes
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools
• Familiarity with container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Hands-on familiarity with scripting or infrastructure-as-code for automation of security tasks
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
• Integrate and operate automated security controls within pipelines
• Support and maintain core Software Factory tooling
• Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized workloads using Kubernetes
• Operate and support DevSecOps platforms within air-gapped classified environments
• Assist in enforcing compliance requirements through automation and pipeline controls
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across CI/CD pipelines
• Gather developer feedback and identify opportunities to improve platform usability
