DevSecOps Engineer

Job summary

The DevSecOps Engineer role is essential for integrating security practices throughout the software development lifecycle for mission-critical systems. Responsibilities include developing automation solutions with Infrastructure as Code, managing configurations using Chef and Ansible, and ensuring compliance with security standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires an active Secret clearance and a strong background in various DevSecOps tools and practices.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• 12+ years of DevSecOps experience
• Hands-on experience with Chef cookbooks
• Experience with Chef, Chef Automate, and Chef Ruby
• Experience with Ansible playbooks
• Experience with Ansible Satellite
• Experience with VMware vSphere and vCenter
• Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault
• Experience with Docker, Splunk, Puppet, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Jenkins, and Python
• Must reside within commutable distance for onsite work

Responsibilities

• Manage virtualization operations with VMware vSphere and vCenter
