DevSecOps Engineer

Job summary

The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for building, automating, and sustaining delivery infrastructure for mission-critical software while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and hardening
• Experience implementing DISA STIG compliance
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tooling
• Experience with Helm chart authoring
• Experience with automated security scanning
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash
• Ability to operate independently and manage workload

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines
• Build and maintain hardened Kubernetes environments
• Automate security artifact generation
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate pipeline development
• Partner closely with software engineers and systems engineers
• Maintain and evolve deployment infrastructure
• Support ATO processes through automated evidence generation
• Establish and promote standards for pipeline design
• Contribute to feature development when team capacity requires
• Maintain operational documentation
