Job summary
The DevSecOps Engineering Program Manager is responsible for leading the delivery and operational execution of an enterprise-grade DevSecOps platform within a Software Factory environment. Key responsibilities include managing Agile iterations, driving technical decision-making on DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines, and engaging with U.S. Government customers to align engineering efforts with mission objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, or technical project management.
- Experience leading Agile teams with a record of driving work items to completion.
- Understanding of DevSecOps pipelines and tools.
- Familiarity with containerization and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Understanding of automated security integration.
- Outstanding stakeholder presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal engineering teams to plan and prioritize Agile iterations.
- Track and report work from backlog refinement through sprint execution.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain traceability between user features and contractual milestones.
- Drive technical decision-making on DevSecOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
- Facilitate alignment across architecture, security, and infrastructure leads.
- Guide deployment and operation of DevSecOps platforms in classified environments.
- Interface with U.S. Government customers to understand operational requirements.
- Prepare and lead briefings for Government stakeholders on program progress.
- Ensure engineering roadmaps align with customer priorities.
- Engage with third-party vendors to evaluate capabilities and manage integrations.
- Lead Technical Interchange Meetings and engineering reviews across teams.
- Align cross-program dependencies and resolve conflicting technical priorities.
- Manage team burn rate tracking and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate programmatic and technical risks.
- Support compliance efforts aligned with DoD frameworks.
