DevSecOps / IaC Engineer

Job summary

Automate the provisioning, patching, and teardown of Department of Defense test environments for a Defense Health Agency program. The role maintains infrastructure-as-code and CI pipelines, builds VM templates and configuration baselines, automates patching and STIG compliance checks, and supports test-team environment requests using Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or systems automation
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or Ansible and a CI tool such as GitLab CI
• Linux administration experience
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain the background investigation designated by the Defense Health Agency
• DoD 8140 qualification for the assigned work role before privileged access, or ability to earn it within six months
• Preferred: vSphere experience
• Preferred: Python or PowerShell scripting
• Preferred: active Secret clearance or higher
