Job summary
MANTECH seeks a DevSecOps Platform Engineer to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for various applications. This role involves acting as a generalist in CI/CD pipeline and security requirements to ensure successful delivery of enterprise software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software systems development and management
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or AWS Cloud Formation Templates
- Experience provisioning and configuring cloud service provider systems (GCP, Azure, AWS)
- Experience deploying and configuring cloud service provider SaaS offerings (API gateways, SaaS databases)
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Python, Bourne Shell)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab
- Proficiency in containerization with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
- Experience securing software through code and container scans
- Experience with MLOps, including building and deploying machine learning models
- Knowledge of generative AI technologies
- Experience with SaaS AI tools such as AWS SageMaker
- Experience with network configuration and management
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles
- Experience with the Sponsor’s primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or AWS Cloud Formation Templates
- Provision and configure cloud service provider systems (GCP, Azure, AWS) for reliable and scalable solutions
- Develop, test, and maintain containerized applications for system accreditation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools
- Implement DevSecOps methodologies and manage source version control and build/release tools
- Support the software build process and ensure systems meet security requirements
- Maintain system baselines and configuration management items, including security event monitoring policies
- Recommend and implement process and policy improvements for pipeline efficiency and security
