Job summary
As a Platform Engineer on the DevXOps Platform team, you will build, maintain, and evolve foundational platforms that support product development teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or related roles.
- Experience designing and operating production systems on AWS.
- Proficiency in Linux and scripting skills in Python or similar languages.
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement platform solutions using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure application performance and reliability.
- Leverage understanding of AWS architecture to manage cloud infrastructure.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Maintain containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Contribute to architectural discussions for the DXO Platform.
- Develop automation solutions using Ansible and Crossplane.
- Provide support for production systems ensuring high availability.
- Implement security best practices across platforms.
- Automate testing procedures to meet accessibility standards.
