Digital DevOps & Release Manager

Job summary

The Digital DevOps & Release Manager is responsible for leading a team of DevOps Engineers to enhance technology and processes for digital platforms. This role involves managing CI/CD environments, coordinating releases across teams, and improving release processes using tools such as GitHub, MuleSoft, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DevOps Manager, DevOps Lead, or Lead Engineer.
• Strong experience with GitHub and CI/CD.
• Understanding of scripting and configuration, including Bash, Python, and YAML.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Degree-level qualification in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of four DevOps Engineers, including an offshore team.
• Take technical ownership for the design and ongoing development of the DevOps and CI/CD environment.
• Coordinate releases across multiple teams and technologies, supporting the Agile Release Train.
• Work closely with developers, test managers, IT Operations, and project teams.
• Help improve release processes, governance, automation, and deployment standards.
