Director of Data Platform Engineering responsible for defining and executing the strategy and engineering roadmap for the Global Transaction Banking Data Platform using Databricks.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive technology experience
• Proven success leading engineering managers and senior technical professionals
• Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills
• Deep expertise in enterprise-scale data platforms
• Extensive experience with Databricks
• Strong experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing frameworks
• Foundation in modern programming languages and API design
• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the GTB Data Platform
• Lead the evolution of the Databricks platform
• Drive platform modernization and engineering transformation
• Establish engineering and data architecture standards
• Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for data platforms
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of strategic technology initiatives
• Champion modern data architecture practices
• Accountable for platform investment planning and budget management
• Lead and develop engineering managers and technical talent
