Edi*** is seeking a hands-on Director of Cloud Engineering & DevOps to manage and enhance their Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for their e-commerce and internal systems.

Qualifications

  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven experience designing and operating production systems.
  • Strong experience supporting Node.js / API-driven architectures.
  • Experience managing high-traffic, customer-facing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and resolve production incidents.
  • Strong understanding of scalability, resiliency, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture, performance, security, and reliability of Azure infrastructure.
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable cloud solutions using Azure services.
  • Establish best practices for scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and infrastructure as code.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve application performance and deployment strategies.
  • Lead production incident response and long-term infrastructure improvements.
  • Define and own observability strategy including monitoring and logging.
  • Architect and optimize networking and global performance.
  • Drive cloud cost optimization through scaling strategies.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing infrastructure team.
