Job summary
Design and operate a scalable, secure enterprise data platform supporting analytics and business intelligence in healthcare and insurance. Build Azure and Snowflake platform components, Terraform infrastructure-as-code, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions deployment pipelines, and observability capabilities, while applying cloud security practices and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications
- Extensive platform engineering experience, particularly with Azure-based data solutions.
- Expert knowledge of Azure or Snowflake services, including Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure ML, and Power BI or Fabric.
- Experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of observability, including logging, metrics, alerting, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of cloud security and secure-by-design practices, including network isolation, identity and access management, and data protection.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for scripting and automation.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, data science, and business teams.
- Ability to document technical designs, contribute to platform standards, and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Leadership experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver robust, automated, scalable Azure and Snowflake data platform components.
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform infrastructure-as-code across environments.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Implement observability through logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Align implementation with platform standards and architecture patterns.
- Guide and mentor engineers on automation and monitoring best practices.
