Job summary
The DevOps Engineer automates and integrates processes for deploying and managing software applications and systems, collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance scalability and reliability. Key responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines, managing build servers, implementing security measures, and utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Docker to optimize deployment processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
- Familiar with power SCADA/EMS system software architecture.
- Knowledge of embedded software and development environments.
- Experience with database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding RESTful APIs and web services is a plus.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
- Able to work independently and manage tasks.
- Passion for technology innovation and system building.
- Domain experience with utility scale battery energy storage systems is a plus.
Responsibilities

- Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.

- Ensure performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate software components.
- Optimize build and release applications for speed.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
