Job summary
Leads a DevOps engineering team delivering AWS infrastructure and internal developer platform capabilities across product lines. The role connects application teams with cloud operations, prioritizes requests against the platform roadmap, and drives reusable solutions, security guardrails, cost governance, and automated CI/CD using AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, and GitOps.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of engineering management or technical leadership experience managing software or platform engineering teams.
- At least 8 years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Architecture.
- Experience building and delivering internal developer platforms or developer enablement tools.
- Technical expertise in cloud ecosystems, preferably AWS; Kubernetes/EKS; and Terraform-based infrastructure as code or platforms.
- Strong background in CI/CD automation, GitOps, and modern deployment methodologies.
- Understanding of enterprise observability, operational excellence, and site reliability engineering practices.
- Leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a product-minded approach.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming AWS infrastructure requests from software development teams.
- Refine infrastructure requests for technical completeness and architectural alignment.
- Build relationships with engineering and product stakeholders.
- Align requests with the Internal Developer Platform roadmap and prioritize reusable platform capabilities.
- Schedule and prioritize team workflows to deliver engineering commitments predictably.
- Lead, mentor, and develop DevOps engineers.
- Partner with InfoSec and Cloud Platform leadership on security guardrails, cost governance, and CI/CD automation.
