Job summary
Pliant is seeking an Engineering Manager for a new Site Reliability function, responsible for standardizing reliability practices and building a team from the ground up.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of engineering experience, including 3 years managing engineers
- Track record of hiring and developing engineers
- Strong AWS and Terraform experience
- Experience with on-call rotation and incident management
- Strong platform observability experience
- Experience pushing reliability practices into product engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Define the framework for SLOs and error budgets
- Conduct blameless post-mortems and root-cause fixes
- Implement production readiness reviews
- Enhance Datadog observability coverage
- Build the team from the ground up
