Job summary
The Enterprise Platform Engineer administers and develops complex IT infrastructure, focusing on servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and secure, highly available operations. The role includes maintaining virtualization, storage, and backup systems; hardening network and security components; automating monitoring and operational processes; and resolving complex incidents through root cause analysis. The environment includes Linux and Windows servers, Active Directory, NFS and iSCSI storage, and data center infrastructure.

Qualifications
- Several years of experience administering and operating complex IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and data center operations.
- Practical experience with enterprise storage systems and NFS or iSCSI.
- Knowledge of routing, VPN, network segmentation, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with backup, recovery, patching, lifecycle management, and basic IT security.
- Analytical thinking, independent working methods, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, automation, infrastructure as code, Citrix, firewalls, or cloud technologies is an advantage.

- Administer, operate, and continuously develop infrastructure for servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.
- Maintain stable, secure, and highly available IT systems.
- Operate, optimize, and develop virtualization, storage, and backup solutions.
- Administer and secure network and security components, including patching and hardening.
- Automate monitoring and operational processes.
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents and conduct root cause analyses.
