Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer enables digital product delivery by turning complex technical requirements into automated toolchains and providing technical support to delivery teams. The role designs scalable, highly available deployment strategies; automates systems; maintains engineering standards; and addresses infrastructure, operational, security, integration, and service availability needs. The work may involve Microsoft enterprise services, including Azure, to support secure cloud-native delivery.

Qualifications
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex live service faults in DevOps tooling, environments, and deployments.
- Experience designing DevOps solutions with appropriate security controls.
- Experience applying modern engineering standards and supporting colleagues to adopt them.
- Experience defining integration builds and coordinating tooling, environments, deployment processes, and integration testing.
- Experience managing service availability and performance while minimizing disruption to delivery.
- Desirable: experience delivering projects in an agile environment.
- Desirable: knowledge of Microsoft enterprise platforms, including Azure, for secure cloud-native delivery.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex technical requirements into automated DevOps toolchains.
- Provide technical support to delivery teams and resolve infrastructure and operational problems.
- Design repeatable, scalable, highly available deployment strategies.
- Automate systems and maintain development standards.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert.
