Job summary

The Epic Site Reliability Engineer II at Que*** is responsible for implementing and maintaining observability solutions, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with development teams to enhance system efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with multiple APM tools and extensive experience with Dynatrace.
  • 3+ years SRE experience.
  • Experience in software development, infrastructure, or operations roles.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. AWS, DevOps, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, Azure).
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Go).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain observability solutions to monitor system performance.
  • Utilize tools to gather, analyze, and visualize key performance metrics.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks through analysis and optimization.
  • Conduct capacity planning based on observed patterns and growth projections.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks.
  • Document system architecture and observability best practices.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate observability tools.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement monitoring measures.
  • Conduct training sessions on observability tools and performance engineering.
