Job summary

JPM*** is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to work with Data Scientists on building and deploying machine learning models. The role involves implementing algorithms, managing model serving systems, and optimizing performance in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related Engineering field with 10+ years of experience or MS degree with 6+ years experience.
• Extensive experience in Python and cloud computing, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of quantization techniques for LLMs.
• Understanding of Transformer models and their serving challenges.
• Familiarity with ML training and reinforcement learning algorithms.
• Experience in systems engineering fundamentals: caching, CUDA, autoscaling.
• Passion for data science and model deployment.
• Experience with monitoring tools for model input/output.
• Strong analytical mindset and engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipelines for distributed training on GPU-enabled clusters.
• Manage real-time and batch inference systems for optimal performance.
• Implement quantization techniques and deploy large language models on serving stacks.
• Optimize vector databases for AI and machine learning applications.
• Establish monitoring and observability pipelines for system health.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate new technologies and improve infrastructure.
• Define scalable technical solutions with product and engineering teams.
