Fabric Cloud Engineer and Platform Administrator, Remote (EU) – International Client

Job summary

The Fabric Cloud Engineer and Platform Administrator is responsible for managing and enhancing Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environments. This role involves administering Microsoft Fabric tenants, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform Cloud, and developing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines while ensuring platform security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric administration and operations
• Proven experience with Power BI administration
• Solid experience designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Experience implementing and maintaining Terraform Cloud Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development
• Strong knowledge of YAML-based deployment pipelines and Git-based development workflows
• Experience working with REST APIs, PowerShell, and command-line automation
• Strong understanding of platform governance, security, compliance, monitoring, reliability, and cost management
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering, architecture, security, and analytics teams

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environments
• Define and enforce governance policies for OneLake
• Manage platform security, authentication, authorization, and access controls
• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform Cloud
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Manage Git integration, branching strategies, release management, and platform deployment workflows
• Monitor platform availability, performance, capacity utilization, security posture, compliance, and operational costs
• Automate administrative and operational activities using PowerShell, CLI tools, and REST APIs
• Troubleshoot platform issues and drive continuous improvements
