Job summary

Lead the DevOps team, coordinating planning and bridging gaps between product management, architecture, development, and operations. Develop and maintain build, delivery, and repository structures while automating recurring tasks using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, or Python.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in (business) computer science or comparable experience in IT
• Several years of experience in the DevOps environment and initial experience in team leadership
• Proficient in agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban)
• Practical experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus)
• Familiar with automation tools and scripting languages (Ansible, Python, Shell)
• Proficient in Git
• Experience with Linux administration and RPM building
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and solution-oriented work style
• Fluent in German and good English skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, resource planning, and ticket prioritization in the DevOps team
• Continuous development of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Close collaboration with product owners, architects, and technicians
• Promote best practices (Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, automation)
• Active involvement in managing and scaling system/customer landscapes
• Develop and maintain software build and delivery processes
• Develop and maintain artifact repositories
• Support the setup and maintenance of customer systems
• Contribute ideas for optimization
• Automate recurring tasks such as provisioning, deployment, or monitoring
• Close collaboration with development and service teams
• Co-develop and document standardized and secure system environments
