Job summary

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer with MicroStrategy experience to lead complex initiatives in developing infrastructure solutions for business applications. This role involves evaluating software solutions, designing and deploying infrastructure, and ensuring proper processes to avoid future problems. The position requires overseeing and supporting both on-premise and cloud-based MicroStrategy environments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a MicroStrategy Administrator
  • 3+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proven experience migrating MicroStrategy environments from on-premise to cloud-based SaaS solutions
  • Proficiency in Python scripting
  • Strong experience working with Windows operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy development
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness to work on-site at the stated location
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, including firewalls and VPN configurations
  • Strong Windows systems background to manage on-premise setups

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure for business applications
  • Participate in projects to improve or upgrade infrastructure
  • Evaluate internal and external software solutions to meet target state architecture goals
  • Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure proper processes and procedures are in place
  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions collaboratively with the team and third-party vendors
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices
  • Make decisions in technical designs and implementation plans
  • Identify project risks and resource requirements
  • Direct daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards
  • Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with customers and vendors
  • Oversee and support on-premise and cloud-based MicroStrategy environments
