Job summary

The Site Reliability Engineer role is essential for maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of production systems, including video playback and content discovery services. Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar role with large-scale distributed systems
• strong understanding of containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• in-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux systems administration, network fundamentals, and storage systems
• proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Ruby, Rust, JavaScript

Responsibilities

• ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of production systems
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and operate large-scale, high-availability systems
• develop and maintain automation tools and processes to improve reliability and efficiency
• act as a technical lead for SRE-related initiatives, providing guidance and mentorship
• work closely with software engineers to diagnose and resolve production issues
• continuously monitor and evaluate system health, proactively addressing potential issues
• drive innovation and improvement in infrastructure and processes through experimentation
• participate in the design and implementation of disaster recovery plans
