• Solid experience in cloud architecture and deployment at scale
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Advanced knowledge of FinOps and Cloud Cost Management
• Experience analyzing costs, budgets, consumption, forecasting, anomalies, and optimization strategies
• Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, focusing on efficiency and optimization
• Knowledge or experience in AI, MLOps, model execution/inference, or AI platforms
• Valuable experience with OpenCost, Kubecost, MLflow, Model Registry, or OpenShift AI
• Ability to understand and work with cost attribution models in AI platforms
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with different teams

Responsibilities

• Design public, private, or hybrid cloud architectures ensuring high availability, resilience, and scalability
• Lead cloud financial governance, defining budgets, consumption alerts, and cost control mechanisms
• Analyze and optimize infrastructure costs, identifying inefficiencies and applying right-sizing strategies
• Design cost attribution models to track consumption by tenant, solution, agent, and AI model
• Utilize OpenCost for cost analysis and control in Kubernetes environments
• Define mechanisms for detecting anomalies and consumption deviations
• Collaborate on AI model lifecycle governance using Model Registry / MLflow / OpenShift AI
• Evaluate and select technologies and architectures for optimal performance, scalability, security, and cost
• Work with technical teams to optimize workloads and maximize ROI of cloud and AI solutions
• Define cloud migration strategies considering economic impact from the outset
