Founding AI Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

We are building a new kind of AI system that allows robots to learn complex tasks from a single demonstration. We are looking for an exceptional engineer to own the infrastructure powering our model training, working at the intersection of machine learning, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and robotics.

Qualifications

• Experience in MLOps, AI infrastructure, platform engineering or HPC
• Experience in large-scale distributed training
• Experience in modern deep learning frameworks
• Experience in GPU orchestration platforms
• Experience in high-performance computing and distributed systems
• Experience in MLOps tooling, CI/CD and experimentation frameworks
• Experience in computer vision, multimodal AI or transformer architectures

Responsibilities

• Design and own large-scale AI training infrastructure
• Scale distributed model training across GPUs and cloud environments
• Optimise training throughput and infrastructure costs
• Build systems to transform simulation data into production-ready models
• Develop tooling and frameworks for research and experimentation
• Work with founders and research team to solve engineering bottlenecks
• Shape architecture and technical direction of the company
